Red Chokeberry suckers, so remove suckers to prevent colony spread.  Fruits are sometimes used to make jams and jellies, but the berries are very tart and bitter. This Shrub looks gorgeous grouped in masses. It will do well at a ponds border or as a foundation planting. It also has nice fall color.
